The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation is a registered charity that delivers community projects across the county. Using the power of cricket, the foundation aims to make a lasting, positive impact on the lives of those living in Yorkshire.

To deliver our work the Yorkshire Cricket Foundation works closely with The Yorkshire County Cricket Club and the Yorkshire Cricket Board to maximise the opportunities available for everyone to learn, participate and benefit from sport.

CRICKET IN THE CLASSROOM

 

Cricket in the Classroom is specifically aimed at offering Key Stage 2 children (Years 5 and 6) the opportunity to attend and use the facilities that Yorkshire County Cricket Club has to offer. The day includes a classroom based session with curriculum specific activities, an introduction to cricket practical session with the day rounding off with a behind-the-scenes stadium tour.
